DUCLSA OPPOSES THE NEW RR OF LAB STAFF

Dear friends,
Although we have not received any official copy of new recruitment rules (RR) till now but whatever we came to know from our reliable sources are highly unsatisfactory. In the new RR, more stress were given to internal promotion through LDE  and less on promotion through DPC. Our main demands were to remove word MTS in Lab and 100% promotion from Lab Attendant to Lab Assistant though DPC but both demands were ignored by DU authority.  In absence of post in hierarchy, there is only once chance of promotion from Lab Attendant to Lab Assistant in most of the colleges which is injustice with them. It is very sad that DU authority ignored expectations of thousands of lab staff of different science departments and colleges who were waiting for better RR . DUCLSA will call Action Committee Meeting very soon and will decide future course of action on this issue.

DUCLSA DEMANDED 100% PROMOTION FROM LAB ATTENDANT TO LAB ASSISTANT

Dear friends,
You all must be aware that meeting of Executive Council of University of Delhi is going to be held on 28 May and the new recruitment rules (RR) for lab staff is one of item of the meeting.  It was decided in the DUCLSA Working Committee meeting held on 20/05/2015 to rewrite the Registrar demanding 100% promotion from Lab Attendant to Lab Assistant in the coming  new RR. Accordingly, we have written a letter to Registrar reminding our long pending demands of 100% promotion from Lab Attendant to Lab Assistant through DPC. We are hopeful that  DU Administration will consider our long pending demand.
